MoreAn integrated sustainability unit where students engage with the problems of climate change, natural disasters and sustainability. The end product, following research and the DMA rationale, would be a 3D-printed prototype of a design solving their chosen disaster or climate change problem, i.e. sustainable fireproof shelter for bushfires, sustainable floating villages to address rising ocean levels.
Attended EduTech summit 2022 in Melbourne and was inspired by the possibilities of technology in education. I created a presentation to share with my colleagues and students to inspire them to enter the world of science and technology and consider STEM as an exciting career path. I also visited ANSTO and did a tour of the Synchrotron - I was excited to say the least!
Created a porfoilio site using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and is a work in progress. Demonstrates some of the skills I have learnt so far.
As IT Co-ordinator at my school during COVID remote learning, I created a site to help teachers and students with common IT issues. The site was created using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I also included created a time stamped request form to organise and triage requests and various Google Docs to assist teachers is using various apps and equipment.
